Carlo Ancelotti’s son credited with masterstroke behind Real Madrid’s victory over Bayern Munich

Real Madrid’s sensational comeback against Bayern Munich on Wednesday night will live long in the memories of their supporters, and this will especially be the case of Joselu Mato, who was the hero for Los Blancos with those two goals in four minutes.

Joselu was brought on by Carlo Ancelotti in the 81st minute to replace Rodrygo Goes, but it was the Italian manager’s son Davide that was the driving force behind the veteran striker being brought on. As per Movistar (via Diario AS), he was in his father’s ear on several occasions calling for Joselu to be substituted onto the pitch.

Davide and Don Carlo have been a magnificent team over the last few years, and that has shown itself on the pitch, as Real Madrid head towards a second Champions League title in three seasons. The pair will hope to work their magic against at Wembley Stadium on the 1st of June.
