Brentford captain Pontus Jansson admits he's yet to make a decision about next season.

It's no secret that Malm FF are trying to lure their former defender back to Sweden as his contract runs down.

However, it is not excluded that Jansson extends his deal with the Bees.

"It feels fantastic to be back. It's been a long six months but I've been working very hard with the physio team. Everyone out on the training pitch can say I've given it my all and this is the reward you get from it," he told The Athletic after his return from a long-term injury absence.

"The conversation has always been that we will talk (about a new contract) when I'm back and now that I'm back we have to sit down and see what's best for me and for the club. But now I'm just happy to get through 90 minutes, perform well, score and get a point in a tough away game (3-3 against Brighton).

"So let's see what happens in the coming days."
