Bubba Wallace announces he and wife, Amanda Carter, expecting first child

NASCAR driver Bubba Wallace is about to undergo some massive changes in his life. The longtime NASCAR veteran announced on his Twitter page on Wednesday that he and his wife are expecting their first child in the month of October, the same month as his birthday.

Wife: “It would be the worst to have a baby on your birthday/birthday week”

Their Instagram carousel included several photos with a small, visible ultrasound in each. “Spring has sprung,” the couple wrote in their Instagram post. “Summer will be rad. Fall is the first time, we’ll be mom and dad!”

They let everyone know the baby would be due in October, since Wallace joked that the baby is due the same week as his birthday.
